- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, addressing presenting concerns, medical histories, and psychosocial factors.
- Review abnormal laboratory results and devise appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with primary physicians.
- Identify educational needs for patients and their families, prioritizing based on assessments and concerns articulated by the patients.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary care approach, collaborating with healthcare professionals and involving family members in care planning as suitable.
- Deliver care in alignment with established protocols, evaluating patient responses and adjusting treatment as necessary.
