Job Title: RN CVICU/Cardiovascular ICU
Job Location: MI 48236
Shift: Days (7AM-7:30PM) or Nights (7PM-7:30AM). Weekend Requirement. EOW. No on call. 36 hours/week.
Duration: 13 Weeks contract, Extendable
Pay Rate: $72-74/hr. on W2 benefits

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

- Cardiac background *At least 3 years in ICU with prior cardiac experience OR at least 1-year prior CVICU experience. *ACLS and NIHSS certifications Required *CCRN Strongly Preferred *Impella or BP experience preferred *Houses open heart and mechanical patients *Must have strong critical care and critical thinking skills *2:1 ratio. Active license for State of MI.
