Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive and effective patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Apply knowledge of patient growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
- Gather and interpret patient information to determine their specific needs.
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of assigned patients.
- Complete admission assessments within the required time frames, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Document patient care needs accurately and comprehensively.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Strong patient care competencies and the ability to perform thorough assessments.
- Knowledge of developmental stages across the lifespan to provide appropriate care.
- Proficient documentation skills and adherence to established policies and protocols.
- Valid AHA BLS Certification.
- Active RN license in Massachusetts.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg nursing.
