What are the responsibilities and job description for the VA-Med/Surg RN-Nights position at InfiCare Staffing?
Location: Abingdon, VA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Pay: $1,981 weekly (36 hours)
Shift: Nights 7p-7a and every other weekend/holiday's
Job Summary
Wound cares
Admitting new patients
Monitoring vital signs
Administering medications
Operating and maintaining equipment (e.g., IV tubes, feeding tubes, oxygen tubes, catheters)
Basic life support
Calculating drug dosage, administering continuous medication infusion, and monitoring patients for effects of medication
Monitoring patients before, during, and after invasive procedures
Recognizing the signs and symptoms of cardiopulmonary and respiratory emergencies and knowing how to start standard interventions to stabilize the patient
Requirements
Minimum: 3 years of recent med-surg RN experience
BLS/NIHSS
VA RN license
Must have permanent tax home more than 100 miles from facility Abingdon, VA 24211
