Position-Agency Management Analyst (740031)

Duration- 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate- $27.98 / hr on w2 without benefits.
- Under the direction of the Office of Law Enforcement ProfessionalStandards (OLEPS) Director, Deputy Director, and Supervising AdministrativeAnalyst, or other supervisory official within the Department of Law and PublicSafety :
- Researches, compiles, analyzes data relating to law enforcement lawenforcement practices and activities, and provide detailed, accurateinformation regarding trends and patterns of those practices as well as theability to review and analyze data relating to State Police motor vehiclestops, internal affairs, training, supervisory duties, early warning systems,and other law enforcement-related functions
- Creates and maintains analytic databases for OLEPS' analysis andreports
- Analyzes and interprets statistical information in furtherance ofOLEPS' mission
- Assists in recommendations concerning policy revisions, training, anddatabase development
- Designs and implements specialized research and / or analyticalprograms
- Has the ability to investigate, review, modify, develop, and test newanalytical procedures and methodologies
- Prepares or participates in the production of sound, accuratepublications, memoranda, and reports relating to research, grants, and otheractivities containing findings, conclusions, and / or recommendations
- Designs and implements data collection protocols to acquire new andexisting data;
- Assists with the subsequent analysis and reporting of findings
- Conducts statistical work
- Implements research projects
- May produce data dashboards, evaluate reports and visual aids, andidentify trends and patterns
- Independently, or as a part of a team, develops strategies andsolutions for addressing issues and concerns

- 2. Knowledge, skills, education, and / or experience :
- 3. Mandatory skills / certification(s) Requirement :
- 4. Desired skills : Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by 18 credits in social sciences, criminal justice, statistics, or a closely related field.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in collecting, analyzing, reporting, and disseminating large volumes of data using statistical techniques to identify trends or patterns in complex data for research projects.
- Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education.
- 30 semester hour credits are equal to 1 yr. experience
