What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant II position at InfiCare Technologies?
Schedule: M-F, 5 days a week.
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Summary:
Under the supervision of the practice manager, the medical assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow while maintaining the highest level of patient safety, patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinician satisfaction.
Promotes patient satisfaction by interacting with patients in a professional and courteous manner; consistent with patients' need.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Active participation in patient care including rooming patients, taking blood pressures, performing EKGs, recording patient vitals in EPIC.
- Performs other procedures as determined relevant to the individual patient and transport patient to ER, if needed.
- Responsible for contacting Bio-Med for any broken machine or expired that is registered with the Bio-Medical Engineering department.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Medical Assistant Certification for the state of MA
CPR/BLS required
Vaccination against covid-19 required
