Job Overview :
Team is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer specializing in Palo Alto firewalls to design, deploy, and support secure network solutions. The role requires advanced networking knowledge and the ability to provide expert technical leadership, troubleshooting, and mentorship.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement network solutions using Palo Alto firewall technologies, including App-ID, User-ID, WildFire, IPS, and GlobalProtect.
- Configure and manage firewall rules for security, NAT, QoS, authentication, and decryption.
- Create and maintain profiles for antivirus, anti-spyware, vulnerability, URL filtering, file blocking, and WildFire.
- Deploy and manage high-availability solutions and secure communication via VPNs and IPsec tunnels.
- Oversee Panorama operations, including templates, template stacks, device groups, and log collectors.
- Conduct in-depth network analysis using tools like Zenoss, Splunk, Palo Alto Panorama, and Wireshark.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis for advanced troubleshooting and escalations.
- Lead capacity planning, network performance analysis, and change control procedures.
- Mentor junior network engineers and oversee cross-disciplinary teams during complex problem resolutions.
Required Qualifications :
Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall technologies, including virtual routers, vsys, and zone protection.
Preferred certifications : CCNA / CCNP, PCNSA / PCNSE, CISSP, Network , Security .
Experience with monitoring and analysis tools like Zenoss, Splunk, Ixia, Gigastor, and Viavi Observer.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
