Position : Senior Java Engineer

Location : Bentonville, AR 72712 (Onsite)

Duration : Long Term contract

Job Description

  • Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
  • Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.
  • Defining application objectives and functionality.
  • Aligning application design with business goals.
  • Developing and testing software.
  • Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
  • Producing detailed design documentation.
  • Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
  • Developing multimedia applications.
  • Developing documentation to assist users.
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development

Experience and Skill Level

  • 10 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Kafka
  • good exposure to microservices architecture, cloud technologies
  • Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications
  • Experience in product development would be a plus
  • Experience in eCommerce projects
  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following :
  • Gitflow, Kubernetes, docker
  • Atlassian products - BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence etc.
  • Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS
