We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a profit and loss, growing a business, and handling recruiting and staffing. We are a diversified enterprise with several business lines (ambulances, paratransit, livery, courier, automotive maintenance, and school buses)
In addition to the qualifications listed below, we are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic and coachability. The Senior Operations Manager must be able to multi-task, work long hours and meet deadlines under pressure. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. And most importantly, they must be coachable and willing to learn new things. They must be open to feedback and be willing to change their approach when necessary.
A paramedic license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the ambulance company, including scheduling, dispatching, and quality assurance
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the business
- Oversee the recruiting and staffing of paramedics and EMTs
- Manage the budget and ensure that the company is profitable
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
- Represent the company to the public and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 5 years of experience in operations management
- 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Paramedic license preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong work ethic and coachability
