In your new role you will:
- Lead a team of system application engineers (SAE) in four focus applications: Inverter, OBC/DC-DC and BMS and product application engineers (PAE) specialized in key products: Si IGBT/Diode, SiC MOSFETs,GaN devices, HV gate drive IC, BMS IC
- Have a deeper understanding of our customer need by working closely with Field Application Engineering (FAE) team and sales
- Analyze customer need and develop a structured approach to deploy SAE and PAE resources to ensure customers’ success via efficient support.
- Develop state of the art system competence in the four focus applications and work with local and global partners to develop tools and collaterals (demo, application notes etc) to find scalable approach to support our growing customer base
- Identify the gap in product expertise and work with global teams (product lines) to develop PAE team to meet the growing needs
- Identify the need for digital tools to scale our support and work with PAE team to develop those tools
- Analyze electrification technical trends and identify collaboration areas with other divisions (Application, products, SW).
- Develop collaboration framework and key goals and work with other Infineon divisions to achieve those goals
- Lead Government funded projects by working closely with Infineon government relations team and potential partners to ensure desired outcome
- Support Infineon global and regional marketing team by developing applications and product collaterals (fighting guide, application notes , etc) Support Infineon communications team by presenting our technologies, products and applications in technical seminars

- You have passion to bring technology to market and you enjoy deep technical engagement in applications and product
- You concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value which enables you to inspire customers and win them over for Infineon.
- 15 years application engineering experience in power electronics products and applications
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years experience in managing technical teams
- Good experience in designing automotive power electronics systems including inverter and OBC/DC-DC; experience in translating system/application requirements to device and package requirements
- Strong background in power semiconductor (Si, SiC, GaN) device and packaging technologies used in automotive electrification applications
- Good understanding of automotive customer requirements and product development process
- Capability to quickly understand the interrelations in complex applications and derive implications for Infineon products in a structured way
- An open mind for working in an international environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and English skills 10-20% domestic and international travel required
