In your new role you will:
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop Python scripts aimed at automating semiconductor chip testing and validation processes
- Enhance testing efficiency and accuracy through automation
- Assist in generating application notes (appnotes) and validate graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to educate customers on the use of our controllers
- Ensure high-quality and user-friendly documentation
- Perform troubleshooting on buck converter evaluation boards to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize bench equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators for testing and validation purposes
- Work closely with team members to gain insights into the latest developments in power semiconductor technology
- Attend team meetings, contribute to project discussions, and provide feedback on ongoing tasks
- Gain practical, hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in the semiconductor industry
- Actively pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering
- Proficiency in troubleshooting buck converter evaluation boards
- Hands-on experience with bench equipment, including digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators
- Experience in Python programming for scripting and automation tasks
- Competence with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Relevant courses in Power Electronics, Circuit Design, Semiconductor Devices, Embedded Systems, Programming, and Scripting are preferred
- Available to work onsite for 6 months to 1 year
