In your new role you will:
- Understand Design and Verification Environment by familiarizing yourself with design and verification tools and methodologies
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of our design environment and workflows
- Digest Design Requirements and Implementation by reviewing and comprehending design specifications and requirements
- Analyze the design implementation to ensure it aligns with the intended requirements
- Evaluate existing test cases for their intent and effectiveness
- Identify areas of improvement to enhance the verification process
- Create new test cases to rigorously test design elements
- Develop stress tests to push the limits of design implementation and identify potential issues
- Identify gaps in verification coverage
- Develop strategies to close these gaps and ensure comprehensive verification
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of digital design and verification concepts
- Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- US citizen or green card holder: This internship requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).
