Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $150,000 salary per year
Maximum of $206,250 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
In your new role you will:
- Regional technical expert focused on automotive electronic ZoneControllers and Power Distribution Centers.
- Develop system understanding and create system solutions utilizing Infineon’s Automotive Smart Power Devices including High Side Drivers,Motor Drivers, PMICs, LED Drivers, IVN and related products.
- Collaborate with Field Application Engineers and Account Managers to provide 2nd level expert product support to OEMs and Tier 1s to secure new business opportunities.
- Key member of global expert team working across multiple product lines developing new concepts, innovation projects and new technologies to advance our product roadmaps.
- Establish and develop trusted relationships with key customer engineering personnel and decision makers.
- Engage with global product lines and regional marketing on strategies and best practices impacting our business growth and strategic direction.
- Directly reports to Senior Director level.
- B.S. Electrical Engineering, MSEE Preferred
- 10 combined years of experience as a semiconductor Application Engineer or automotive electronic system design engineer, preferably with some experience serving automotive electronics such as Body Control Modules, Smart Power Distribution Centers, Door Modules, Gateways and Zone Controllers.
- Strong technical knowledge and design experience on a system level including software experience.
- Broad understanding of power devices and technologies used in automotive smart power solutions.
- Utilizes new and innovative methods to confront and solve problems.
- Thermal design, modeling, simulation and analysis experience beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with customers and internal Infineon Sales and Business Unit partners including mentoring and coaching.
- Inspires others to follow their view despite an uncertain future by listening first to understand.
- Business acumen to assess technical viability of solutions provided.
