In your new role you will:
- Work with BT subsystem lead to implement and influence architectural decisions
- Understand the Bluetooth Standard (Link Layer section) and the Bluetooth sub-system architecture and design
- Design, implement, and maintain Bluetooth sub-system blocks. Review verification plans and direct verification team efforts for these blocks.
- Support backend and FPGA implementation of the Bluetooth sub-system
- Work with the modem/radio teams to define the Link Layer interface
- Work with the firmware team to define HW-FW interfaces and providing guidance to the firmware team on how these interfaces should be used
- Debug and resolve issues reported by verification and firmware teams
- Create/maintain documentation for above activities
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated design and development skills
- Excellent understanding of System Verilog
- Good understanding of processor architecture
- Familiarity with custom ASIC design and FPGA prototyping
- Proficiency with front-end tools and methodology, e.g. LINT, CDC, etc.
- Understanding of verification methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5 years’ experience in ASIC development
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on technical leadership experience
- Experience with Bluetooth or wireless protocols
- Experience with wired communication protocols
- Experience with modem design
- Experience with LEC, UPF
