JOB TITLE : Tech Writer

SUMMARY :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
To perform this job successfully, the Education Technician / Instructor will act primarily as an Academic Advisor and must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner :
- Create and execute HHS writing support project plans, following a project delivery approach for work.
- Provide academic advising to writing within HHS
- proficient in notetaking, proofreading, and writing. The writers should have experience in preparing summary statements, or document equivalent work to summarizing a
- Be knowledgeable about HHS process and its process, including writing on these processes and resources.
- Be knowledgeable about HHS Database and technological system
- Attend HHS writing meeting and other identified training
Requirements
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients, and other employees in the organization.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish, and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions based on facts. Project Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts / data and formulate a plan of action.
