Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Technical:
- Hands-on experience on SAS EBI suite.
- Hands-on experience on working in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
- Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS Server usage.
- Good debugging skills to identify issues in Data and at Infrastructure level.
- Can describe existing technology infrastructure across all major functions/departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies.
- Has a competent understanding of safe and effective support practices
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in SAS BI on SAS 9.2, SAS 9.4 Grid platforms, including SAS Connect, SAS/Intranet Server, SAS OLAP Server, SAS Metadata Server, SAS Object Spawner.
- Knowledge on tuning the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server Platform to optimize the Server Performance.
- Experience with databases like Oracle.
- Strong understanding of software languages, platforms, tools, ITIL framework and methodologies such as SDLC and agile.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in migrating SAS Enterprise Server to SAS Grid in Linux environment.
- Experience in Infrastructure analysis tools like Ganglia, App Dynamics.
- Ability to schedule and Monitor Jobs via Tivoli Work Scheduler, LSF.

- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion to line manager.
