Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Network Engineer with deep expertise in Data Center Network Hosting and Fabric Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructures, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and scalability within data centers. This role requires hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies, automation, and fabric architectures to support modern enterprise applications and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of data center network fabrics, including spine-leaf architecture, VXLAN, EVPN, and SDN solutions.
- Implementation & Maintenance: Oversee end-to-end network deployment within hosting environments, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and performance.
- Routing & Switching: Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, as well as advanced switching technologies like VPC, MLAG, and STP.
- Security & Compliance: Implement network security policies, including firewalls, microsegmentation, access control lists (ACLs), and network segmentation.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Cloud & Hybrid Integration: Work with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud networking, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud-hosted services.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Perform proactive monitoring, analysis, and issue resolution for network performance, capacity, and reliability.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams while maintaining detailed network diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Vendor & Technology Management: Engage with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, and F5 for technology selection, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on data center networks and fabric architectures.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K), Juniper, or Arista switches.
- Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, SDN (ACI, NSX-T), and network virtualization.
- Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and MPLS.
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC), and DDoS mitigation solutions.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual WAN, Google Cloud Interconnect).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
