Job description

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Technical Expertise :

6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra or DataStax Cassandra administration.

  • Proficiency in Cassandra Query Language (CQL) and knowledge of NoSQL database principles.
  • Experience with tools like Cassandra OpsCenter or other database management utilities.
  • Development and Scripting :

    • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques for Cassandra (e.g., partitioning, clustering keys).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl for automation tasks.
  • Performance and Monitoring :

    • Experience with performance tuning and diagnosing production issues in Cassandra clusters.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Environment Management :

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing Cassandra clusters in cloud environments.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
