Required Skills and Qualifications :

6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra or DataStax Cassandra administration.

Proficiency in Cassandra Query Language (CQL) and knowledge of NoSQL database principles.

Experience with tools like Cassandra OpsCenter or other database management utilities.

Development and Scripting :

Strong understanding of data modeling techniques for Cassandra (e.g., partitioning, clustering keys).

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl for automation tasks.

Performance and Monitoring :

Experience with performance tuning and diagnosing production issues in Cassandra clusters.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Environment Management :

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing Cassandra clusters in cloud environments.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
