Position: Financial Controller
Location: Rockville, MD - Hybrid
Terms: Fulltime
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial analysis in a technology product environment.
- 4 years of senior-level accounting management experience in a fast-paced technology company. Experience in the healthcare or IoT industries is a plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and experience managing compliance with SOC 2 and other regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance reporting at federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience with payroll and a proven ability to streamline accounting processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in Excel. Prior experience in [list technologies] preferred but not a requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree and CPA preferred but not required).
- Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a strong focus on process optimization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
