Job Summary:

Infinite Computing Systems is seeking a Juvenile Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction in an educational setting. The Teaching Assistant will supervise students in the absence of the classroom teacher, monitor assignments, track attendance, and maintain daily records. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the classroom when the primary teacher is unavailable.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to classroom rules.
• Assist students with assignments and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and track daily progress.
• Collaborate with educators and other staff to enhance the learning environment.
• Prepare reports and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure student safety and compliance.
• Attend all required training sessions and obtain necessary certifications.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Experience implementing daily and weekly lesson plans in an educational setting.
• Ability to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to accept feedback and follow supervision.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
• Prior experience working with students is a plus.
• Substitute teaching permit is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
