This role will develop and maintain the import and export regulatory operation; evaluate Free Trade Agreements (FTA); record-keeping governance; customs broker compliance; and maintenance of TC system.
General Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute the Trade Compliance program for Infinite Electronics
- Manage customs compliance, in collaboration with customs brokers.
- Maintain visibility of free trade agreements.
- Assign HTS and ECCN codes for imports and exports in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Act as company’s liaison with customs authorities and customs brokers.
- Oversee special programs with U.S. Customs: ACH, ISF, and Reconciliation.
- Maintain report activities through U.S. Customs' ACE system.
- Manage the Duty Draw Back process partnering with finance to optimize savings for IE
- Develop SOPs to be consistent with company’s TC policy and procedures.
- Support supply chain key stakeholders with import and export operations.
- Participate in global, regional and local projects on as needed basis.
- Support management with metrics and KPIs.
- Communicate with carriers and trade compliance vendors to support the request for quotes, documentation and escalation of issues.
- Other duties as assigned
- General knowledge of trade regulations enforced by U.S. Customs and the Canada Border Services Agency.
- Knowledge of FTAs; customs duty framework; additional duties such as Section 301 and antidumping; sanctioned party list (SPL) and embargo screening; product classification; and record-keeping.
- Possess a strong collaborative style across a diverse organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and their business applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Reliable, dependable, diligent Highly organized with good time management skills

- The successful candidate shall exhibit a sense of ownership, urgency, be solution orientated, collaborative and accountable.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 5-7 years of experience.
- Licensed customs brokers preferred.
- Three years of Microsoft Office experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in mandarin and Cantonese is a plus!
