Job Summary:
The Concrete Technician will play a crucial role in our operations, handling all aspects of concrete work, including new installations and repairs. This includes patios, walkways, driveways, and epoxy flooring applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete installation, finishing, and repair, along with expertise in epoxy coatings for both residential and commercial projects.
The Concrete Technician will play a crucial role in our operations, handling all aspects of concrete work, including new installations and repairs. This includes patios, walkways, driveways, and epoxy flooring applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete installation, finishing, and repair, along with expertise in epoxy coatings for both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform new concrete installations, including site preparation, form setting, pouring, and finishing for patios, walkways, and driveways.
- Apply epoxy coatings to floors and other concrete surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Diagnose and perform concrete repairs, including crack filling, resurfacing, and structural reinforcement.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other team members to meet project specifications and timelines.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in concrete installation, finishing, and repair.
- Proven expertise in epoxy flooring applications and coatings.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, curing, and reinforcement techniques.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in concrete and epoxy work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with decorative concrete techniques, such as stamping and staining.
- Certification in concrete or epoxy applications is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
Salary : $20 - $27
