Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Part-Time Warehouse Employee to manage the flow of parts and materials in and out of the warehouse. This position will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, assisting with inventory control, and supporting the audio-video installation team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check-In Parts: Receive and inspect parts and materials that arrive at the warehouse. Ensure proper documentation and storage of all items.
- Check-Out Parts: Prepare and organize parts for job sites and installations. Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials to team members.
- Warehouse Cleaning & Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all team members. Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
- Delivery & Pickup: Transport parts to job sites as needed and pick up materials from vendors.
- Support Installation Team: Assist with loading/unloading equipment for audio-video installation jobs and provide logistical support to the installation team.
- Potential Apprenticeship Opportunity: Learn the ropes of audio-video installation through hands-on training and shadowing experienced technicians.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 75 lbs.) and stand for long periods.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is essential for transporting parts.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and adapt to schedule changes as needed.
