What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent IT Contractor position at Infinite Homes?
We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Developer to join our team on a contract basis to design and develop a custom software system that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams. This system will enable our users to store, manage, and access critical information directly within Teams, enhancing collaboration and streamlining workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional software solutions within Microsoft Teams.
- Design, develop, and implement a custom software system that integrates with Microsoft Teams, ensuring data storage and retrieval processes are smooth and secure.
- Work with Microsoft Graph API, Teams SDK, and other relevant Microsoft tools to enable data management capabilities.
- Build and maintain backend systems to store data securely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational and security standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance, ensuring the system runs efficiently.
- Provide technical documentation and training as needed for end-users and internal teams.
- Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and deployment of the system.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams integrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Teams SDK, Power Platform, and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of database management and cloud-based data storage solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
