What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Guest Service Associate and/or Night Auditor position at Infinite Hospitality, Inc.?
The newly constructed Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Hanford is looking for dynamic individuals to be Guest Service Associates. Several full-time and part-time positions will be available. Typically shifts range from 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, 11pm to 7am.
Staffing will start work in February 2025 before opening in March 2025.

Position Title: Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor
Reports to: General Manager
Job Duties:
- Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations by providing service through teamwork:
- Reasonably meet and exceed customer expectations and anticipate needs.
- Communicate promptly and effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
- Handle difficult situations effectively
- Meet service standards
- Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication logbook each shift and update logbook for next shift
- Provides quality and friendly service to the customer:
- Answer phones and take reservations
- Check In and Check Out guests, collecting payment and contact information
- Be of service in navigating the local points of interest to make their stay easier
- Co-ordinate with maintenance and housekeeping for any guest concerns that may arise during their stay
- Co-ordinate with staff for group bookings and events.
- Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
- Attend work on time as scheduled
- Follow hotel grooming and dress standards
- Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
- Follow hotel brand standards
- Follow hotel front desk procedures for efficiently providing service
- Keep accurate count of shift cash drawer
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Performs such other ancillary and related duties as may be assigned by Supervisor or General Manager to effectively operate the hotel business.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods
