Infinite Loving Hands Home Care Agency is a small business in Indianapolis, IN.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Liaison with a strong background in Veterans to join our team. This role is essential in building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and veteran networks to drive referrals and expand awareness of our home care services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving veterans and a proven track record in healthcare outreach and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach
- Establish and nurture relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation centers, senior communities, veteran service organizations (VSOs), and other referral sources.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase referrals, particularly within the veteran community.
- Represent the agency at networking events, veteran-focused programs, health fairs, and other community events.
Education & Advocacy
- Educate healthcare providers, families, and the community—especially veterans and their caregivers—about the agency’s home care services, including VA benefits and eligibility.
- Provide presentations, distribute educational materials, and host informational sessions to increase awareness of available care options for veterans and seniors.
Client & Referral Management
- Act as the primary liaison for referral sources to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients.
- Follow up with referral partners to maintain relationships and assess satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the care coordination team to tailor services to meet client needs, with special attention to veteran-specific benefits and care plans.
Marketing & Strategy
- Partner with the Director of Operations to develop marketing materials and outreach campaigns targeting veteran communities and broader home care audiences.
- Track and analyze referral data to inform outreach strategy and improve engagement efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, contacts, and follow-ups using Excel tracking sheets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in healthcare sales, community outreach, or business development—preferably within Veterans home care programs , hospice, or home care settings.
- In-depth understanding of VA home care programs, Aid and Attendance benefits, Medicaid/Medicare, and private pay options.
- Strong public speaking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet referral goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community travel.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, social work, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a liaison, sales, marketing, or outreach role within the healthcare or veterans services industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour commission and (increase in 90 days*)
