The Family Support - PAC (Participant Assistance and Care) Specialist provides essential in-home and community-based support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role is focused on assisting clients with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, and social integration, promoting independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Experience and Work History

• Hands-on experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a preference for those with autism.
• Proven ability to implement person-centered plans with measurable results.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred Experience and Skills

• Personal experience with a family member or close connection to someone with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Background in working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, as well as their families.
• Experience in caregiving roles, providing direct support and assistance.
• Knowledge of positive behavior support strategies and other behavioral interventions.
• Additional Requirements

• Health Requirements: Must provide a current negative TB test result.
• Certifications: Proof of current CPR / First Aid certification.
• Work Authorization: Verification of U.S. Citizenship or valid work visa.
• Transportation: Reliable access to a safe and well-maintained vehicle.
• Driving Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
