Experience and Work History
- Hands-on experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a preference for those with autism.
- Proven ability to implement person-centered plans with measurable results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Experience and Skills
- Personal experience with a family member or close connection to someone with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Background in working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, as well as their families.
- Experience in caregiving roles, providing direct support and assistance.
- Knowledge of positive behavior support strategies and other behavioral interventions.
- Additional Requirements
- Health Requirements: Must provide a current negative TB test result.
- Certifications: Proof of current CPR / First Aid certification.
- Work Authorization: Verification of U.S. Citizenship or valid work visa.
- Transportation: Reliable access to a safe and well-maintained vehicle.
- Driving Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
