Overview
Infinite Machine is looking for a versatile and hands-on Field Operations Manager to help us deliver an exceptional experience to our early customers. This person will oversee how Infinite Machine shows up in the real world, including events, facilities, and in-person sales. This role requires a mix of logistical execution, customer interaction, and operational oversight where no 2 days will be the same and hands will get dirty.
Responsibilities
Facilities & Operations Management
Manage vendor relationships for facilities, utilities, office logistics, and supply.
Oversee office and warehouse spaces, ensuring efficiency, functionality, and upkeep.
Ensure proper handling, movement, and storage of electric two-wheelers in warehouse, office, and urban environments.
Support the warehouse team in picking, packing, and receiving orders as needed.
Assist with occasional logistics and fulfillment tasks to ensure seamless operations.
Events & Engagements
Coordinate internal and external company events, handling logistics and space setup with taste.
Support offsite events, including meetings, parties, photo & video shoots, and pop-ups.
Assist in corporate travel planning and transportation logistics.
Sales & Marketing Operations
Manage and personally execute deliveries for early NYC-region customers, ensuring a premium experience.
Track and oversee order fulfillment, addressing issues proactively and autonomously.
Assist in customer support, troubleshooting inquiries, and post-purchase experience.
Maintain detailed records of deliveries, customer interactions, and feedback to refine processes.
Take customers on test rides with a mind for safety, comfort, and salesmanship.
Qualifications
Prior experience in operations, event production, or facilities management.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong people skills. You will work with customers, vendors, and partners on the phone and in person. Introverts need not apply.
Comfortable managing hands-on tasks, including moving & riding motorcycles, driving a work van in NYC, and handling warehouse logistics.
Experience riding motorized 2-wheeled vehicles.
You must have a valid driver's license.
Show up - showing up is part of our culture at IM. This role will be fully in person at our Long Island City headquarters and will require weekends and atypical hours at times.
Open to travel - this role will require approximately 10% domestic travel and may require international travel in the future.
Preferred
Having a motorcycle license is strongly preferred. If you don't have one already, we will support you getting licensed.
Experience in the vehicle industry is a plus.
