About the Role

We are seeking experienced Cybersecurity Analysts with at least three years of experience to join our talent network. As part of our client services, you will be placed with reputable end clients to provide cybersecurity expertise and contribute to strengthening their digital defenses. This role involves proactive security management, incident response, and ongoing risk assessment, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats using tools such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Design and implement security protocols, including data protection policies and encryption methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to anticipate potential vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
• Provide training and awareness programs to enhance security practices across the organization.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and attack methods.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.

Experience:

• 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
  

Technical Skills:

• Security Tools: Advanced proficiency with SIEM solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
• Scripting/Automation: Hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating security processes.
• Networking: Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and secure configurations.
• Cloud Security: Experience with securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security , or equivalent.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and SOC 2.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Leadership skills for managing projects and guiding junior team members.

Flexibility:

• Willingness to relocate nationwide for client-based projects.
