The successful candidate must have an active Secret clearance and will be responsible for managing Windows Server and Redhat Enterprise Linux systems in a dynamic and fast-paced technological environment. What You Will Be Doing
- Systems Administration: Provide IT systems administration in a mixed Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment, with a focus on Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, server replication).
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems related to hardware and OS integration, data RAID, and backup technologies.
- Cybersecurity: Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to ensure systems meet security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes.
- Systems Installation & Configuration: Install and configure software applications requested by end-users and maintain optimal system functionality.
- Solution Development & Documentation: Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems, ensuring systems remain operational 24/7 with occasional after-hours work.
- Collaboration: Work within a team in a fast-paced environment, supporting classified information system capabilities and delivering end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification within 6 months of the start date (DoDD 8140/8570 compliance).
- Experience: Extensive experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration, VMware systems, and Linux fundamentals.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
