About the Role :
Infinite Ranges is looking for a number of Carbon Black Engineer Consultants for short-term professional service engagements. Your expertise with VMware Carbon Black solutions will navigate us through cybersecurity challenges, ensuring a fortified digital landscape. This consultancy stint is more than just a project; it's an expedition into enhancing our security posture against the evolving cyber threats.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Hands-on implementation, management, and maintenance of VMware Carbon Black solutions including Carbon Black Cloud, App Control, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Capture Client.
- Lead migrations, deployments, and configurations of Carbon Black products across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Develop, configure and optimize policies and rules within Carbon Black products to enhance threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of security incidents while providing a thorough analysis and documentation of the incidents.
- Monitor the security infrastructure for signs of compromise, and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Carbon Black configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a coordinated approach to security challenges.
- Evaluate and integrate new security technologies to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
- Provide training and technical guidance to other team members on Carbon Black products and best practices.
