Job Title: Program Manager (LMHP-Type) Mental Health Skill Building

Description:
Provide mental health support services to individuals 18 years and older. Responsible for development and implementation of individualized services plan in accordance with program description.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of all MHSS program protocols and procedures.
- Review all billing for accuracy and monitoring all appropriate paperwork i.e. progress notes, quarterly, discharge reports etc.
- Provide oversight of the productivity of staff to include the management of assigned cases and follow through of expected hours for each staff member.
- Provide direct supervision of all staff monthly to monitor their cases.
- Provide oversight of the accountability of paperwork receivable; weekly review of the billing sheets, follow up on any outstanding paperwork.
- Provide oversight of quality assurance of all client files to ensure compliance.
- Complete comprehensive assessment, weekly.
- Attend staff meetings and supervision with Clinical Director.
- Coverage of staff cases in cases of emergencies or staff shortage.
- Provide direct services to clients, including linkage, advocating, supporting, and providing education as needed.
- Prepare written individual service plan, incorporating input from clients, involved service providers, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strategies, and service objectives.
- Respond to crisis situations within twenty-four hours.
- Link clients with external programs or services, such as health services, recreational activities, childcare services, financial resources, employment resources, childcare, AA/NA groups, transportation resources, and others
- Collaborate and coordinate with other service providers and professionals, such as attorneys, social workers, and probation/parole officers.
- Complete all progress notes and quarterly reports in a timely fashion.
- Recommend appropriate services for client.
- Assure client is informed of his/her human rights.
- Maintain weekly contact with referring agency.
- Conduct discharge planning in accordance with program description.
- Attend all meetings as required.
- Provide accurate time sheets.
- Advise Clinical Director of the state of clinical services, its staff, and its needs and solicits his assistance in implementing solutions to problems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold at minimum a Master’s degree in Health and Human Services to include social work, gerontology, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, special education, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, criminal justice and human services counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university and experience providing mental health services and case management to individuals suffering from a mental illness is preferred.
Must be credentialed by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals as a Licensed Mental Health Professional-Type (i.e. Resident in Counseling, Supervisee)
This position also requires a valid driver’s license, automobile and telecommunications availability, excellent verbal and written skills; counseling and social work theories and techniques; and community resources. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodological. The successful completion of a criminal history or background investigation is required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
