Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment in a plant environment. You should also be knowledgeable in Industry Standards (i.e. API, ASME, PIP, etc.) and possess good communications skills (verbal and written). Additionally, you should be well-versed in Microsoft Office and have demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority items.

Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal), fans, and blowers
- Work in a team environment with other disciplines, operations, mechanical personnel
- Proactively seek improvements directed at increasing plant reliability
- Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices
- Ensuring safe, cost-effective, operable rotating equipment and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current site needs
- Need to be available for infrequent off-normal working hours support
- Provide technical training to mechanical and operations personnel
- Provide QA/QC on repairs onsite/off-site
- Provide vendor surveillance on major machine repairs
- Periodically review rotating equipment performance
- Provide assistance during plant startups, shutdowns, and/or upsets
- Provide guidance on prioritization of machinery related work
