Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate milling production and maintenance priorities with the Maintenance Manager.
- Enhance and enforce our Total Safety Culture Program and Environmental guidelines.
- Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Hire, train, and develop staff through coaching and performance reviews.
- Strategize with the mine team to improve overall production and recovery.
Additional Duties
- Support management in forecasting capital and annual expense budgets.
- Supervise activities of the North Mill Department staff.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of milling and mining processes.
Work Conditions
- Heavy industrial environments with extreme temperature conditions, moisture, slippery or uneven surfaces, confined spaces, heights, and ladder/stair climbing.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, dust, chemicals, often working alone with minimal supervision.
