About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic North Mill Manager to lead our concentrator team and foster a safe, motivated, and productive environment that encourages continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards in safety, environmental stewardship, and plant productivity and efficiency. A vision for employee development and plant enhancements is essential. The North Mill Manager will ensure strict adherence to Company Policies and Federal, State, and Local Regulations and will work closely with unions under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate milling production and maintenance priorities with the Maintenance Manager.
- Enhance and enforce our Total Safety Culture Program and Environmental guidelines.
- Manage budgeting and cost control for the North Mill.
- Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Hire, train, and develop staff through coaching and performance reviews.
- Strategize with the mine team to improve overall production and recovery.
- Manage internal and external training to meet mine and maintenance team needs.
- Foster strong relationships with local unions and participate in necessary committees.
- Manage the Collective Bargaining Agreement and handle disciplinary hearings.
- Address personnel issues per Company Policies and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Serve as Project Manager or Technical Expert on mill modification projects.
- Ensure accurate preparation of North Mill production reports.
- Execute, support, and enforce the Company's Environmental, Health, and Safety program.
