Roles & Responsibilities of Production Worker:
- Read and follow written instructions to ensure accurate product manufacturing.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following plant safety rules.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain operational efficiency.
- Safely operate forklifts when required.
- Organize the production area to uphold product quality and packaging integrity.
- Move materials between storage and production as needed.
- Operate Pack Out machines and identify materials per the production control plan.
- Pull samples as directed by the production control plan for quality checks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by plant management.
Preferred Experience/Skills to be a Production Worker:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or similar operations is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
- Industrial work environment requiring PPE (provided by the company).
- Flexibility to work under special conditions, including evening and weekend shifts, outdoor work, and exposure to challenging climates.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and stacking up to 50-pound bags and moving drums and other containerized materials.
