Description of the role:
we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team. As a Lot Attendant/Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership by maintaining an organized lot, managing vehicle inventory, and supporting the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an organized and clean vehicle lot, ensuring all vehicles are properly displayed and easily accessible for customers
- Handling incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory, including appropriately documenting and tagging vehicles
- Assisting with vehicle transportation, including moving vehicles to and from the service department
- Supporting the sales team by preparing vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they are clean and presentable
- Providing exceptional customer service by promptly greeting customers and assisting with any inquiries or requests
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Lot Attendant or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to [insert weight]
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
