What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Lead and Marketing Support Role position at Infinity Beverages Winery and Distillery?
Position: Front of House Lead
Hours: Full-time position, overtime as needed. Flexible scheduling. Weekend and evening availability necessary.
Salary: Base wage tips commission based on performance (typically totaling $18-$25 /hour). Benefits include employee discount, monthly wine/spirit stipend, bonuses based on performance, and paid time off.
Primary Duties:
- Accurately pour samples of Infinity’s wines and spirits as well as wine by the glass and specialty cocktails while maintaining and enforcing bartending standards
- Take lead on giving tours to guests and coordinating events
- Train new staff on standards and accurately outline required position duties
- Responsible for managing inventory: ordering, stocking and maintaining par levels for bar supplies/dry goods/fruits/mixers/etc
- Assist in advocating promotions and Club Memberships to visitors of the Tasting Lounge
- Eagerly educate customers on Infinity’s distinctive product line and share company vision
- Effectively promote and sell Infinity’s wines and spirits by meeting or exceeding goals
Secondary Duties:
- Manage Tasting Lounge operations and train Front of House staff in lieu of Assistant General Manager
- Collaborate with Management as needed with the following tasks: Seasonal Cocktail Menu, scheduling, and reservations
- Be willing to pour at off-site events
- Work with Marketing Manager to support social media content
Essential Skills, Traits, etc:
- 1 year minimum of prior bartending experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Sales and service experience with proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Self-motivated, independent with ability to multitask
- Eagerness to continually expand knowledge level of Infinity’s product line and production techniques
- Bartenders license or willingness to obtain
