Delivery Driver - Bilingual

Infinity Event Decorations in West Palm Beach, FL is looking for one delivery assistant to join our team. We are a full service event company located on 1000 Stinson Way. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. The delivery driver will Must be able to lift heavy equipment (50lbs ), receive and organize warehouse. Driver’s License required. Punctual. Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive box truck or van to deliver goods to customers
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule.
• Load and unload goods to be delivered
• Assure all deliveries are complete and items delivered are in good condition.
• Return equipment to warehouse racks, load trucks, deliver to customers home.
• Follows procedure to if any item is misplaced or broken.
• Assist in preparing orders for customer pick-up and deliveries.
• Assisting front office with day-to-day equipment allocation
• Clean equipment upon its return to warehouse.
• Event setups when required at delivery time.
• Assure all items that will be delivered are accounted for prior to leaving warehouse.
• Responsible for acquiring customer signature and payments upon delivery.
• Use of point of service system for invoices ensuring all items are delivered or picked up from customer home/venue.
• Utilize navigation system and use the most efficient route. Communicate with work with office staff on route progress
• Must ensure truck/van/car is in good condition prior to start of drive and alert manager of any issues found.

Qualifications:

• Safe driving record
• Valid Driver's License
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
• High school degree or equivalent
• be at least 18 years old.
• ability to work Friday, Saturday and Mondays. Sundays as needed. late nights as needed.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish)
