Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Las Vegas
Job pay: Full Time, Fee-For-Service (FFS)
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver top-notch specialized care to hospice patients.
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and craft effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and oversee ongoing patient care with compassion.
- Partner with physicians and hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment.
- Educate patients and families on health management and supportive care.
- Provide care in multiple sites that include but are not limited to the patient's home, assisted living facilities, group homes, hospital and nursing homes
- Minimum of 2 years experience as APRN with gerontology experience with pain and symptom management, preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient records with precision.
Qualifications
1. Current license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state in which the hospice is licensed.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
3. Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience.
4. Minimum of two (2) years experience as an ARNP with experience in gerontology experience with pain and symptom management is preferred.
5. Must have reliable transportation which will enable the ARNP to perform tasks and
responsibilities in a timely and appropriate manner. Must provide proof of automobile insurance.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong assessment skills.
