Front Desk Agent

About the Role:

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. You will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for handling all inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Your main goal will be to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality industry.
• Fluency in a second language.
• Experience with hotel management software.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and check them into their rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately.
• Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Skills:

As a Front Desk Agent, you will utilize your excellent communication and customer service skills on a daily basis. You will also need to be proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office to handle guest inquiries and requests. Additionally, you will need to be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Fluency in a second language and experience with hotel management software are preferred qualifications that will be beneficial in this role.
