Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Systems Manager to join our team. The Quality Systems Manager will oversee the Quality management system, be designated as the Management Representative of the QMS/EMS, and develop resources in all areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 13485 and IATF 16949/ISO 9001 regulations.
- Implement and maintain a Quality and Environmental System, in compliance with appropriate standards including procedures and work instructions.
- Implement and maintain an Internal Audit program, including corrective action follow-up.
- Schedule, prepare, and present information to all employees at monthly meetings as needed.
- Complete customer quality surveys, reports, benchmark studies, etc.
- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project management efforts that enhance product quality and safety.
- Lead investigations into product non-conformances and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train and mentor staff on QA/QC practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in quality management roles, with a strong understanding of quality systems and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Automotive (IATF 16949/ISO 9001) and Medical (ISO 13485) standards, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective action plans.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in problem-solving situations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to fabricate solutions that enhance product quality while maintaining operational efficiency.
