What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the recruitment process including job posting development, reviewing of applications, scheduling interviews, and working with hiring managers to identify successful candidates.
- Identify training and development needs and work with internal HR leadership to create and deliver effective programs
- Conduct employee onboarding including new-hire orientations and development of job-related employee training programs
- Manage performance management including quarterly and annual performance and goal setting process
- Support compensation management including survey participation and data analysis.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, develop insights, and make data-driven recommendations
- Develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives and other HR projects as needed.
- Act as a backup for company-wide payroll processing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- SHRM or HRCI certification desirable but not required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in Oil & Gas industry desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software including ADP Workforce Now
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 15 pounds for administrative tasks
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
