Summary:
The Warehouse Associate oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, tools, and equipment. This role involves coordinating material deliveries and pickups, managing tools and equipment company wide, and ensuring accurate picking and handling of job materials. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing the tools and equipment assigned to superintendent fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure adequate inventory levels for upcoming projects.
2. Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
3. Delivering/Pick Up Materials:
- Coordinate the timely delivery and pick-up of materials to and from job sites.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all materials transported.
- Communicate with jobsite superintendents and suppliers to schedule and confirm deliveries.
4. Tool/Equipment Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all company tools and equipment.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and repaired as needed.
- Track tool and equipment usage and location to prevent loss or misuse.
5. Job Material Picking:
- Accurately pick and prepare materials for upcoming jobs according to project requirements.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure all necessary materials are available for each job.
- Maintain organized records of material usage and returns.
6. Superintendent Fleet Vehicle Tool and Equipment:
- Oversee the management of tools and equipment assigned to superintendent fleet vehicles.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles are equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for job site operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and inventory checks of fleet vehicle tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift) and vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant computer applications.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy items.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
