We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dean to lead our academic programs and initiatives within the university. This is a BSN program
Must have 2 years teaching nursing school
Minimum BSN and enrollment in MSN (Free)
Flexible availability required (mornings evenings Weekends on occasion)
All faculty are per diem so 8-10 direct reports (plus helpers like schedulers etc)
Interview is Recruiter then two video interviews assistant dean then Regional Dean

Duties
- Oversee the academic programs within the college or university, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and standards.
- Lead curriculum development efforts to enhance educational offerings and improve student outcomes.
- Supervise faculty members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and effective teaching practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet program needs.
- Engage in strategic planning initiatives to advance the mission of the institution and respond to emerging educational trends.
- Collaborate with other administrative leaders to promote interdisciplinary programs and partnerships.
- Represent the college or university at various events, conferences, and meetings, advocating for academic priorities.
Experience
- Proven experience in higher education teaching, with a strong understanding of academic policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in an educational setting, with a track record of effective management.
- Experience in education administration, including budgeting and resource management.
- Familiarity with strategic planning processes within a university context.
- Strong skills in supervising faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on student success.
- Background in curriculum development is highly desirable, contributing to innovative educational practices.
