Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Duties
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care provided
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and staff performance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with staff scheduling and assignments
- Participate in utilization management and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
- Handle emergency situations effectively
Experience
The ideal candidate for the Nursing Supervisor position should possess:
- Proven experience in nursing, with a strong background in medical-surgical, ophthalmology, or emergency medicine
- Proficiency in catheter care and other nursing procedures
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
