Job Summary:
ITS, LLC is seeking a successful candidate as a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Dahlgren Navy Support Facility and help protect our organizations digital assets from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and a passion for cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor computer networks for security issues and investigate breaches
- Implement security measures, including firewalls and data encryption programs
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and promote company-wide best practices for IT security
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, news, and emerging threats
- Provide technical support for security software and hardware
- Analyze and document security incidents
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations
- Provides incident Response
- Certification and Accreditation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption technologies
- DISA STIGSs and Computer Network Defense (CND)
- AFI 17-101 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with the following:
- Vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
- Familiar with DoD network security requirements and controls
- Familiar with and capable of implementing and managing a Cybersecurity Program Management program IAW AFI 17-130;
- eMASS and XACTA
- TEMPEST requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience
- IAT Level 2 Certification (Security CE)
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
