Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Considerable knowledge of Echocardiology
- Clinical competency in vascular procedures including carotid, arterial and venous modalities
- Working knowledge of Sonography
- Exhibits the ability to communicate effectively utilizing written and oral skills
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- Through ARDMS or CCI or ARRT, two or more of the following registries required: Registered Ultrasonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Echocardiology Technologist
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and testing of clients in accordance with departmental standards to ensure that quality results are obtained.
