Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of phlebotomy and IV maintence
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
BLS
One of the following:
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in a modality other than Nuclear Medicine (i.e. Radiography (R), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Sonography (S) etc.)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Active student in a Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
Desired Qualifications:
One of the following:
- Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT (N)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Responsibilities
While in an active student status in a Nuclear Medicine program and under supervision, gains practical experience by assisting in the performance of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures and by performing clerical work.
