Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm D degree from a school of Pharmacy
3 of the most recent 5 years’ experience working in a hospital pharmacy
Proven leadership skills and working knowledge of management principles
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Parenteral License*
Preceptor License*
One of the following
Master of Business Administration or master’s degree in hospital pharmacy
Extensive years of hospital system pharmacy practice experience
Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Consulting licensure
Manages the overall operations of the Pharmacy department. Monitors and may assist in the processing of pharmaceuticals in order to provide defined patient care services which meet IH's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
